13-15 March 2026 marks the second edition of the Auckland Wooden Boat Festival
– and it’s going to be a special one!

All the vessels on display at the Auckland Wooden Boat Festival are originals or restored as close as possible to the original.
New Zealand reportedly boasts one of the largest fleet of authentic classic boats in the world
This is largely thanks to the enduring nature of kāuri timber which is strong and durable, creating boats that last the test of time
