A festival of maritime heritage
It’s summer on the Auckland waterfront. The smell of salt is in the air and the ‘clink clink clink’ of halyards echoes around the basin. Laughter. Children gigging. Talking. The dipping of paddles. Splashing and music.
Wooden boats of all kinds
The Auckland Wooden Boat Festival will feature a collection of more than 200 boats, models and memorabilia both on and off the water. Get up close to some of Auckland’s most fascinating maritime stories in our festival marina.
